Few persons would react negatively toward AI considering the many benefits as stated in Chapter 2. As with any advances, especially technological advances, there are negative issues that arise in conjunction with the many positive outcomes. In this chapter, we examine AI’s tortious elements that have arisen. We will focus on ethical lapses such as bias, job losses, misuse of facial recognition, and other societal issues.
