Human evolution is a controversial topic owing to the substantial diversity of opinions among anthropologists, geologists, historians, creationists, and other commentators. No one has a full understanding of how the current homo sapiens evolved. It does appear that evolution has occurred over several billions of years, long after earth’s transformation from a fiery ball to its present terrestrial blue wonder.
