Advanced Paradigms of Cognitive Learning in Online Ecosystems: Transformative Strategies for Indian Higher Education Institutes

Cognitive learning focuses on understanding, critical thinking, and applying relevancy of knowledge is being found more important than ever in the age of online learning. The current paper discusses how online education institutes (HEIs) in India can incorporate cognitive learning strategy into the online education learning environment. The research particularly focuses on the online students who are pursuing the program in Computer application including the BCA & MCA course of an institute with a repute within a UGC entitled degree. It explores important elements of metacognition, self-regulation, emotional intelligence and collaborative learning and how they can be used to improve outcomes of online learning. This study solves the problem of such challenges as cognitive load and learner engagement in the context of Indian education with providing recommendations. Through the promotion of a repertoire of progressive teaching–learning approaches combined with technological-solutions-based responses, HEIs in India can enhance the values of quality and inclusiveness in online education.
