At present Social media plays an important role influencing public opinion and shaping electoral outcomes. This study targets to appraise the predictive capacity of Twitter in forecasting the results of the 2024 lok sabha elections in West Bengal before the election took place, especially during the campaign time. This work orients by collecting a substantial volume of Twitter data through web crawling techniques, utilizing data analysis methods, incorporating sentiment analysis using machine learning, to assess the correlation between tweet volume, sentiment polarity, and electoral outcomes. The study pursues to govern whether social media participation can serve as a reliable political forecasting. The outcomes will contribute to the growing body of research on computational political analysis and election forecasting based on social networks, offering insights into the role of digital discourse in democratic processes.
