Psychological health is as important as physical health, but little emphasis is normally placed on psychological health. This paper aims to understand the causes of psychological disorders, their consequences, ways of prevention, and possible treatment while focusing on the issue of mental health. Anxiety, depression, and schizophrenia are examples of psychological disorders that affect millions of people globally, causing effects on mood, person-to-person relationships, and physical wellbeing. It is therefore important to undertake an early diagnosis, the sooner, which means early receipt of necessary treatment. In the study, the focus is on how society should support, raise awareness, and provide quality health care for mental health concerns. It also scrutinizes distinct types of treatment, such as counseling, medication, and changes to the lifestyle, as effective treatments. Through pointing out such issues as stigma and knowledge about mental health, this paper also supports the acceptance of patients with mental illnesses, awareness, and cooperation of patients, professionals, and policy-makers.
