The paper discusses the consequences of the evolution of artificial intelligence (AI) in the disciplinary field of Architecture, addressing four implications: (a) New situations in the world, generated by the development of AI, that deserve the attention of the architect’s work; (b) New situations in the world, with important implications for the architect’s work, in which AI can play a relevant role; (c) The role of architecture introducing AI into the built environment; and (d) the adoption of new AI technologies as architecture production tools.
