摘要
This chapter summarizes the outcomes and emphasizes the most important thoughts and ideas. The analysis reveals that Chalcolithic imagery in the Lake District was heavily influenced by Çatalhöyük, with specific themes and motifs. The chapter concludes that imagery not only transformed but also drove cultural change, encapsulating a semiotic ideology that reflected and justified new societal values. The chapter also highlights the rich research potential of the Lake District and the need for further investigation into its connections with Central Anatolia and the broader Neolithic world.
