Materials and Methods
摘要
This chapter extensively describes the empirical evidence: Late Neolithic and Early Chalcolithic imagery from South-Central Anatolia (Çatalhöyük East and West as well as the Lake District sites), including various categories of imagery bearing material culture (paintings, figurines, stamp seals and other finds). The specific theoretical model based on Charles Peirce’s semiotics is described, as well as the methods employed in collecting and analyzing the data.
