Development of a Method for Emergency Landing of a Small Unmanned Helicopter in Case of Onboard Equipment Failures

A method for emergency landing of a small unmanned helicopter in case of failure of its on-board equipment in terms of the power supply system, communication system and engine is presented. Particular attention is paid to landing an aircraft on an unprepared site based on data received from technical vision systems. The logic of operation of the on-board complex in emergency flight conditions with a decision on the need for an emergency landing is presented. A simulation was carried out to assess the flight conditions of the aircraft and make a decision on its landing in automatic mode, which made it possible to evaluate the performance of the emergency landing system and the logic of its operation. The proposed method can be implemented in software and hardware by on-board aircraft flight safety systems.
