The use of social media in the educational context is a growing practice that offers numerous opportunities to enhance student learning and teaching methods. This study conducted a systematic literature review to investigate the potential contributions of social media in the classroom. Several benefits resulting from the use of social media were identified, such as increased student engagement, improved collaboration and communication, resource sharing, and more effective teaching practices. To ensure the successful integration of these tools in education, careful planning is essential to promote student interest, participation, and engagement, maximizing the potential of social media as valuable resources for teachers. The results of this review highlight the importance of structured adoption of social media in the educational environment, emphasizing the need for further research to fully explore its impact on student learning and development.
