The Implementation Effect and Reflections on School-Based Financial Education Project: A Practice in China
摘要
Conducting financial education projects in schools is an important way to enhance financial literacy for the current youth population, and the article examines the operation of a school-based financial education project in a primary and secondary school. By introducing the operational mechanism of the program and analyzing data from surveys and interviews, the study concludes that the program has effectively improved students’ financial knowledge, behavior, and attitudes. As a pilot experiment for the widespread promotion of financial education, the study identifies gaps in both the top-level design and practical implementation of the program. The study proposes feasible optimization directions, including the development of a project-based learning (PBL) toolkit, the employment of financial social workers, and institutional innovations at the macro level.
