The article shows the possibility of controlling the quality of the machined surface during milling of polymer composite materials by controlling the cutting forces. At end dimensional milling with monolithic milling cutters three forces occur: axial, tangential and radial. Reduction of all forces will lead to better machining quality, reduce hairiness, and improve roughness parameters. Axial forces can be minimized by using a special cutting tool, while the ratio of tangential and radial forces can be adjusted by using the “ForceTorqueControl” sensor and adjusting the gain between them. In this case, the “ForceTorqueControl” elastic system will redistribute the force from one axis to the other, and the gain is selected by experience and can range from 0.01 to 1.

摘要
