Development of a Client–Server Application for the Formation of a Schedule of Mass Additional Education Programs

The chapter analyzes the existing methods of creating and processing schedules, obtains the results of a comparative analysis of five main specialized software products designed to automate the process of creating schedules, which have a user-friendly interface and use various algorithms for optimizing the schedule. The process of designing a program for processing schedules is considered, the functional requirements for a client–server application are described, and an analysis of existing methods of working with Excel in programming languages is provided. The process of forming the architecture of a client–server application and designing the interface of a client–server application is described. An analysis of use cases for a client–server application is carried out and its implementation is described. An overview of additional tools used to develop a client–server application is given. The algorithms of the function for analyzing free pairs, the function for forming training groups and for forming a schedule, the development of a database and the interface of a client–server application are described. The results of testing the client–server application are provided.
