This chapters discuss the possibility of “decolonial bioregional architectures”. To do so, it shows how necessary it is to invent from scratch a bioregional theoretical basis for architecture—considering the overall absence of architecture in the history of bioregionalism—and to confront it with the vast field represented by decolonial thinkings, to give birth both to decolonial forms of bioregionalism and decolonial forms of architecture (theory and practice). This decolonization of the field of architecture is seen as a way to modestly contribute to a larger decolonization of societies that should take place in all parts of the world (and not only in postcolonial territories) toward the emergence of a pluriversal world.
