Local resource mobilization is one of the important components for achieving sustainable development in many countries all over the globe, and Bangladesh is no exception. However, Bangladesh is lagging behind in this respect for many reasons. Addressing the legal provisions, this research explored the nexus between local resource mobilization and development activities that can influence sustainable development and the barriers in resource mobilization at the UP level in Bangladesh. However, the summary of the key findings and their implications are discussed in this chapter. Future research endeavors based on this study’s evidence are also explored.
