The Weyl Sets Corresponding to Matricial Hamburger and Stieltjes Moment Problems

The main goal of the chapter is to parametrize the Weyl matrix balls associated with arbitrary matricial Hamburger and Stieltjes moment problems with prescribed power moment sequence \(( s_j )_{j=0}^{\infty }\) . Our approach is based on a combination of our former results in Fritzsche et al., Linear Algebra Appl 651:230–311, 2022; Wall et al., Complex Anal Oper Theory 16(8):112, 2022 on the truncated matricial Hamburger and Stieltjes moment problems with facts from the theory of weak convergence of nonnegative Hermitian matricial measures.
