Basics of Cardiac MRI, Imaging Sequences
摘要
In this chapter we will explore the most common pulse sequences used in Cardiac Magnetic Resonance (CMR) imaging. These sequences will comprise the bulk of the core exam for most cardiac studies and includes scout imaging, morphology imaging, cine imaging for ventricular function and valve assessment, delayed-enhancement CMR for viability imaging, stress-perfusion imaging to detect myocardial ischemia, as well as velocity encoded imaging and Magnetic Resonance Angiography (MRA). These pulse sequences can be used in any combination to create a protocol specific to the investigation of particular disease condition. The goals, by the end of this chapter, is for the reader to be able to identify and properly apply these sequences in a clinical setting.
