摘要

In an age where artificial intelligence (AI) is becoming increasingly integrated into daily life, parenting practices are undergoing significant transformations. This study explores the multifaceted impact of AI on parenting, and provides a comprehensive and detailed overview of common household AI technologies and their potential benefits for child development. We look at strategies for parents with an aim to create a balanced digital environment, as well as to monitor and manage AI interactions, and to promote digital literacy and critical thinking among children. By assessing the benefits and risks of AI technologies, we offer practical risk mitigation strategies with an objective of safeguarding children’s privacy and well-being. Through real-life case studies and expert insights, the research presents successful integrations of Artificial Intelligence in family routines. It also addresses common challenges faced by parents. Ethical and privacy considerations are thoroughly examined, highlighting the importance of balancing convenience with ethical responsibility. This study also provides policy and regulatory perspectives, suggesting necessary changes to better protect children in an AI-driven world. Future trends and implications are discussed, offering predictions on emerging AI technologies and their long-term impact on parenting and child development. This work highlights the need for a collaborative effort from parents, educators, and policymakers to navigate the challenges as well as the opportunities presented by AI, thereby ensuring safe and beneficial applications of AI into children’s lives.
