AI-Driven Pedagogy: Transforming Higher Education with GenAI and Metaverse
摘要
The convergence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in general and the Metaverse is fast changing not only the face of academia but also how students generally interact with their higher-educational institutions in driving immersive, interactive, personalized learning experiences. This potentiality of AI-driven learning pedagogies will be interrogated in reshaping educational practices around adaptive learning, ‘game-based’ assessment forms, and virtual collaboration methods. The role of Generative AI (GenAI) in personalized education makes sense through enhanced content-making tools and automatic feedback procedures. The Metaverse develops an experiential paradigm for learning in dynamic virtual experiences. Case studies involving AI chatbots for academic assistance and gamified Quiz Analytics in the Metaverse present the real application of this technology at Woxsen University. Further, it explores how GenAI, along with the Metaverse, would facilitate collaborative technology-driven classroom environments and discusses the role both these will play in the emerging technology-centric workplace. From an ethical standpoint, one does not need to look further than issues such as privacy and inclusivity or human-AI balance. It calls for an act of thoughtful adoption. Together, these innovations promise to redefine the future of education.
