This work utilizes a historical materialist lens to analyze “Anti-Woke” propaganda as counter-resistance to anti-racism, class-consciousness, and political transformation in post-George Floyd America. This chapter examines how the semantic distortion of conscious urban language has pre-empted a radical shift in the social contract. Through its theoretical lens, the author provides an in-depth critique of “anti-woke” politics’ concentrated negation of multi-racial, class-based movement toward racial, social-political, and economic justice and inclusion; why it appeals to supporters of America’s traditional base; and how it is designed to restore its historic supremacist and patriarchal social order, control, and productive domination.

摘要
