This thesis explored the dynamics and thermodynamics of muticomponent molecular machines through the lens of stochastic thermodynamics. I leveraged existing theoretical tools and developed new ones in order to uncover fundamental limits, infer experimentally inaccessible thermodynamic quantities, and ultimately learn design principles.
