Gen Z women folks are among the prominent segments of the civilization shaping the modern society in present scenario perceive menstruation cycle as a biological process which periodically influences women’s life. The research work aims to investigate the perspective of gen z on mensuration by exploring their level of awareness and familiarly towards this biological state among women through semi structured interview method by collecting the data from gen z. A sample of 34 gen Z respondents through convenient sampling comprising of women and men were interviewed and their responses were analyzed using thematic analysis technique to draw recurring themes highlighting the homogeneous attributes among the gen perception. The study seeks to identify the perception of society towards menstruating women specially with reference to India. The investigation detects the challenges faced by the women due to this natural biological process in their daily personal and professional life influencing their progression in life adversely.
