We establish the predictions for neutrino-induced nuclear fission and what target material is most ideal for this search. After determining that target material is thorium, we set out to make estimates of the charged-current neutrino interaction cross section, the expected branching ratios from the decaying daughter nucleus, and then define the signal for neutrino-induced nuclear fission.
