The dynamics of artificial objects around the Earth is the content of this chapter. The context of the satellite and space debris problem is introduced using the Cartesian equations of motion and the Hamiltonian formulation, which includes secular and resonant terms. We also provide explicit expressions for the contributions of Sun and Moon, and we discuss secular resonances depending only on the inclination. We also present the effects of Solar radiation pressure, Poynting-Robertson drag and Solar wind.

摘要

The dynamics of artificial objects around the Earth is the content of this chapter. The context of the satellite and space debris problem is introduced using the Cartesian equations of motion and the Hamiltonian formulation, which includes secular and resonant terms. We also provide explicit expressions for the contributions of Sun and Moon, and we discuss secular resonances depending only on the inclination. We also present the effects of Solar radiation pressure, Poynting-Robertson drag and Solar wind.
