Macroscopic Anatomy of Adipose Tissue
摘要
This chapter examines the heterogeneity of visceral and subcutaneous fat depots, emphasizing their diverse functions in thermogenesis, metabolic homeostasis, and reproductive health. Furthermore, it illustrates how the distinct properties of fat depots can influence the outcomes of autologous fat transfer procedures aiming to optimize the effectiveness of autologous fat grafting for tissue repair, regeneration and treatment of metabolic disorders.
