This study explores the evolving role of generative artificial intelligence (AI) and its growing influence, particularly within the education sector. While current applications often focus on automating essay writing or generating quiz content, the potential of generative AI extends far beyond these uses. With the ability to produce text, speech, images, and even videos from simple prompts, generative AI can support a wide range of educational functions—from summarizing knowledge and giving instructions to enhancing communication about complex topics. The technology’s accessibility continues to expand, with a variety of tools and platforms now offering advanced language, image, and video generation capabilities. Many of these systems operate through chatbots and dialogue interfaces that respond dynamically to user inputs. Although generative AI models may share foundational principles, they often specialize in different tasks based on their architecture and training data. Looking ahead, the chapter argues that generative AI holds immense promise for transforming traditional education into more personalized, creative, and engaging learning experiences. It can facilitate individualized learning paths, stimulate creativity, and enhance student motivation through gamification. One compelling example is the development of multisensory educational games that integrate generative technologies to teach complex subjects, such as architectural history, playfully and interactively. These innovations highlight the educational value of generative AI and demonstrate its broader potential for reshaping how knowledge is created, delivered, and experienced.

摘要
