We provide an overview of quantitative economic literature on Central, East and South-East Europe published between 2019 and 2022. We outline the content of 16 journal publications and monographs, and how it relates to longer-term trends in the cliometric research on this part of the world. We will also detail the main findings of Morys (ed.), The Economic History of Central, East and South-East Europe (2021) which constitutes the first-ever quantitative economic history of the region. Finally, we spell out what kind of research to expect on the CESEE region in the years to come.
