Analysis of Indicators of Government Knowledge Spending Under Economic Crises and the Requirements of Economic Development: Selected Global Experiences
摘要
The production of knowledge is one of the factors contributing to the success of the economic structure, the development of productive activities, and the flexibility of the production system in the face of economic fluctuations. The problem of the research is that the repeated occurrence of economic crises caused the deterioration of the economic system and the decline of productive activities, and then many macroeconomic problems emerged. The research aims to follow the development of knowledge indicators and focus on the role of government spending on education in the countries of the research sample, in order to prove the validity of its following hypothesis: The knowledge economy enables it to alleviate the severity of economic crises and then improve the structure of the economic system. The research concluded that knowledge indicators are witnessing declines and fluctuations in their temporal development, meaning that there is a varying interest in policymakers in improving productive systems based on knowledge momentum in the countries of the research sample. The research recommended increasing total spending on knowledge and education at all levels and opening many research centers in all specializations. Scientific research would develop the structure of local production and make it more resistant to economic crises.
