The study includes both the concept of monetary policy and the tools of the Central Bank (including the legal reserve ratio, discount rate and open market operations), as these tools have an impact on the reality of Iraqi economic activity as well as the concept of GDP. The Central Bank's data for the period (2004–2023) were used. The tools and their impact on economic activity can be calculated by studying the autoregression of different time gaps using the ARDL test. The study concluded, The general objectives of the Iraqi economy include the integration of the objectives of the Central Bank of Iraq, provided that the independence of the Central Bank of Iraq is not affected.
