Subject to Change: Imagining Transitional Subjectivities
摘要
The last chapter dwells on the case studies reported in the previous chapters to develop an alternative way of understanding agency beyond the concept of individual subjects. To do so, it develops further Simondon’s concept of ontogenesis (being as becoming) with political and ethical approaches. It changes the approach to the narratives about the historical development of the field and enables understanding architecture as abstract machinery, rather than as product of individual geniuses. This factor allows understanding collaborative and counter-hegemonic actions from a brand-new perspective.
