The integration of digital technologies, content and processes is reshaping all sectors of education: from curriculum reform to teacher assessment and development. Among these technologies, applications of artificial intelligence (AI) present significant opportunities to improve the learning experience, especially in secondary and higher education. In this study, we focus on the potential impact of AI on teaching and learning by examining how students perceive AI as a learning tool. We also examine how AI applications are integrated into academic processes and activities. Building on previous research and in line with the European Education Area (EEA) initiative, the study uses a cross-sectional analysis to assess the benefits and challenges of AI in educational contexts. The findings provide insights into the effectiveness of AI in supporting communication, programming, content creation and explaining concepts, while highlighting the importance of developing skills for educators and students to navigate the evolving AI landscape.

摘要
