Ocular Trauma
摘要
Ocular trauma is a common and serious cause of ocular injuries and is often associated with motor vehicle crashes (MVCs), assault, sport-related trauma, and work-related trauma. Blunt or penetrating ocular trauma can lead to corneal abrasions and lacerations, globe rupture, retrobulbar hemorrhage, and other intra- and extraocular injuries. It is important to complete a comprehensive ocular exam to evaluate for associated and potentially more severe injuries.
