The author describes his journey from a “no stop light” coal mining town to founding three companies and then creating and applying intercultural assessment, coaching and training for global organizations. Not following a grand plan, he and his wife/partner took advantage of the opportunities afforded them or created their own. From early days working for the American Peace Corps, they and their teams continued to believe that truly understanding other cultures can promote peace, not conflict.
