This paper problematizes the notion of anxiety from a biomedical perspective. To do this, cultural semiotic psychology thinks of anxiety as a sign that a person uses to mediate affective states of malaise. This question denotes the neoliberal society that promotes productivity and makes people feel lacking and run in excessive ways to produce more and more. Finally, this work proposes the use of shadow trajectories in a clinical psychology context and the singularization of signs to cope with cases of anxiety.

摘要

This paper problematizes the notion of anxiety from a biomedical perspective. To do this, cultural semiotic psychology thinks of anxiety as a sign that a person uses to mediate affective states of malaise. This question denotes the neoliberal society that promotes productivity and makes people feel lacking and run in excessive ways to produce more and more. Finally, this work proposes the use of shadow trajectories in a clinical psychology context and the singularization of signs to cope with cases of anxiety.
