This chapter presents a qualitative analysis of journalists’ emotional responses, perceptions, and attitudes toward the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in media environments. Based on semi-structured interviews with 28 journalists from seven countries, the findings reveal a complex emotional landscape, ranging from enthusiasm and curiosity to discomfort, skepticism, and critical engagement. The study identifies key emotional categories and introduces two conceptual frameworks—Humanized Diagnostic Media Approach (HDMA) and Critical Transparency and Informed Disclosure (CTID)—to interpret how journalists navigate the challenges posed by AI. Participants emphasized the necessity of critical reflection, ethical education, institutional support, and the development of internal guidelines for AI usage within media organizations. Concerns about accelerated technological change, professional identity, environmental impacts, and the preservation of journalistic integrity emerged as cross-cutting themes. This analysis highlights the urgent need for a human-centered, dialogical, and ethically informed approach to AI adoption in journalism, acknowledging emotional experiences as integral to professional adaptation and technological negotiation.

摘要
