The rapid evolution of communication technologies has led to the widespread adoption of collaboration-centric platforms, such as Microsoft Teams. However, many enterprises still rely on robust Voice over IP (VoIP) services provided by systems such as ABC Unified Communications. This article examines the integration of ABC Unified Communications–a comprehensive VoIP solution–with Microsoft Teams to create a unified communication and collaboration (UC&C) platform. The integration presents significant challenges, including technical compatibility, operational complexities and infrastructure scalability. This study explores the integration techniques, infrastructure requirements, and practical considerations for implementing a successful merger of these systems. A case study of implementing a functional prototype is presented, discussing the solutions adopted to overcome these challenges, the architectural design, and the outcomes of the integration, highlighting its impact on business communication.

摘要
