The objective of this chapter is to provide guidelines for refining system requirements as a foundation for architectural design. It covers the identification of stakeholders, the analysis and enhancement of functional requirements, and the elicitation and refinement of non-functional requirements. These guidelines enable architects to ensure that the system requirements are complete, precise, and aligned with both stakeholder expectations and architectural design objectives.
