Validation and Implementation of a Rehabilitation System Based on Interactive Digital Television to Prevent Falls in Older Adults
摘要
This study presents the technological validation of an interactive rehabilitation system leveraging smart televisions for older adults with balance and mobility impairments. A panel of health-trained participants was engaged through the Delphi Method to evaluate system acceptance and effectiveness, while the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) was applied to measure perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and adoption intention of the technological tool. Findings revealed strong consensus regarding the system’s functionality and applicability, emphasizing its potential within this demographic group. The study highlights the critical role of expert input in the design and validation of innovative health technologies, providing an accessible and tailored solution to foster healthy aging. The results offer valuable insights for the deployment of effective tele-rehabilitation strategies in both clinical and community-based contexts.
