Generative artificial intelligence (AI), especially large language models such as ChatGPT, is transforming the writing and creation of content in several domains, such as educational content creation and coding, informing financial decision-making, among others. For this reason, the article aims to offer a comprehensive bibliometric analysis of incorporating generative artificial intelligence, particularly LLMs, into the scientific writing process. The research examines production trends, identifies thematic clusters, and explores emergent topics related to GenAI. The analysis also shows the impact of collaboration networks and journals. To achieve this, 1389 unique documents (2014–2024) were examined and retrieved from Scopus, Web of Science, and Dimensions. Moreover, this analysis underscores the need for future inquiries into quality standards, integrity measures, and responsible integration of AI in scientific publication processes.

摘要
