School Leadership in Latin America and the Caribbean: An Overview
摘要
In the sections that follow, we provide an introductory synthesis of the primary socioeconomic, policy, and practice issues shaping the field of school leadership in Latin America. This introduction is not a substitute for the chapters that follow but instead a frame to help contextualize the chapters’ contributions. One of the goals of this book is to put various concepts into conversation with each other, including macro and micro, local and regional, and status quo and transformational. As such the introduction is readers’ first but not only encounter with the complexity of issues and depth of research in this emerging field of study.
