The chapter presents various methods of MCDM for use in decision-making situations with many factors. Each technique has its own way of structuring preferences and making decisions. We explain four main methods in this field, and use examples to demonstrate their practical use. Examples can be based on actual case studies, simulation work, or real data sets to make their use clear. Using more than one method for the same problem allows us to check the results and use what we learn to aid our decisions.
