As urbanization accelerates, the demand and expectations of urban residents for city parks are increasing. In 2024, the updated list of open and shared green spaces in Chongqing’s urban parks added the Jiangbei District Riverside Square, of which the Ju Xianyan Square is an important component. This study aims to conduct a satisfaction survey of the Ju Xianyan Square park in Chongqing and perform an Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) to assess users’ satisfaction with various aspects of the park’s facilities and environment. The analysis includes evaluating the suitability of the dataset for factor analysis, identifying key factors, and interpreting the results within the context of park management and planning. Through data analysis, several influencing factors related to park transportation, facilities, environment, and management were identified. These factors are potential determinants affecting user satisfaction with the park’s green space.
