Study on Preparation and Performance of New Radon Reduction Covering Material for Uranium Tailings
摘要
Uranium tailings clay covering for reducing radon exhalation needs great project, and ecological damage is serious. Based on the uranium tail slag, cement, soil curing agent as raw materials, the new kind of concrete-like radon shielding cover material was prepared and the performance was studied. The concrete-like and the traditional clay covering uranium tailings radon technology comparison was made on the economy. The results show that the new concret-like material prepared with uranium tailings slag, cement dosage of 15% and curing agent dosage of 0.04% has a radon exhalation rate of 0.1208 Bq/(m2·s) and compressive strength of 3.2 MPa, which has good radon reduction effect and mechanical properties, and can be used for covering uranium tailings to reduce radon.
