Pulmonary hypertension is a pathophysiological disorder that may be associated with multiple diseases. The main clinical consequence is right-sided heart failure, involving multiple organ systems and determining a complex clinical syndrome. Organ crosstalk includes multiple mechanisms which can increase morbidity and mortality by producing functional and structural changes in multiple organs. The aim of this chapter is to underline these interactions in pulmonary hypertension, often neglected by clinicians.
