In this study, we investigate the formation of the second-order daughter phase process zone within the matrix of the mother phase using numerical simulations based on the finite element method (Boulbitch and Korzhenevskii 2016). Subsequently, we compare our simulation results with the analytical solution. We demonstrate that the simulation results are consistent with the analytical findings, both qualitatively and quantitatively. This alignment between the analytical and numerical outcomes provides strong support for the field-theoretical approach.

摘要

In this study, we investigate the formation of the second-order daughter phase process zone within the matrix of the mother phase using numerical simulations based on the finite element method (Boulbitch and Korzhenevskii 2016). Subsequently, we compare our simulation results with the analytical solution. We demonstrate that the simulation results are consistent with the analytical findings, both qualitatively and quantitatively. This alignment between the analytical and numerical outcomes provides strong support for the field-theoretical approach.
