Total gastrectomy is the standard of care treatment for large or proximal gastric tumors. Minimally invasive approaches offer improved recovery time without sacrificing cancer-specific outcomes compared to an open approach. In this chapter, we describe the surgical steps of a robotic total gastrectomy with accompanying intraoperative images.
