Sleeve gastrectomy (SG) is a minimally invasive bariatric procedure that has gained popularity due to its effectiveness in weight loss and improvement of obesity-related comorbidities. This technique involves the surgical removal of a significant portion of the stomach, resulting in a smaller, tubular-shaped stomach. The application of robotic surgery to this procedure offers several advantages, including enhanced precision, improved visualization, and reduced surgical trauma. By providing a comprehensive overview of the technical nuances of robotic SG, this chapter aims to contribute to the understanding and successful implementation of this procedure.
