They employ various drug delivery mechanisms, including passive diffusion, endocytosis, and receptor-mediated uptake, to effectively target cancer cells and enhance treatment efficacy. Despite these benefits, several challenges impede the widespread use of nanotechnology in medicine. These include biocompatibility issues, complex manufacturing processes, and regulatory hurdles that must be overcome to ensure safety and efficacy. Future advancements are expected to focus on improving targeting precision, achieving controlled release of therapeutic agents, and integrating artificial intelligence to enable personalized medicine. These innovations could enhance treatment effectiveness, reduce side effects, and lead to better patient outcomes. As research progresses, nanotechnology’s potential to transform healthcare and provide tailored therapeutic solutions is becoming increasingly clear.
