The extensive side effects of classic approaches in the management of cancer call for the need to develop targeted therapeutic approaches, of which novel therapeutic approaches, targeting metabolic and non-metabolic signaling pathways, which have altered in cancerous tissues in comparison to healthy tissues, are of great importance. Three important categories of such pathways, proliferative, angiogenic, and regulators of genetic integrity, have been discussed in this chapter.
