Understanding Confidence: Its Roots and Role in Performance
摘要
With an in-depth analysis of confidence and its components, this chapter examines the underlying psychological components of confidence and discusses how critical and creational mindfulness may facilitate the process of confidence build-up. By exploring the relationship between the subjective worlds of the individual, the group, team, and society members, the chapter demonstrates how mindfully creating a choice of behavior, including the choice of the perspective, is embedded within the root analysis of confidence cultivation. This chapter discusses the role of character and looks into the implications of accountability, initiative, and collaboration for confidence enhancement.
